Dionigi di Rijkel, beato (1404-1471). Nato a Rijkel nelle Fiandre, laureatosi a vent'anni all'Università di Colonia, nel 1423 entrò nell'Ordine Certosino. Era un eccellente scrittore di mistica e per questo gli è stato conferito il titolo di Doctor Estaticus. Durante i suoi studi veniva spesso tentato dal demonio, al quale mentre scriveva impose di reggergli il calamaio in nome di Gesù. Viene commemorato dalla liturgia come beato il 12 marzo.

Dionifi of Rijkel, blessed (1404 – 1471). Born in Rijkel in the Flanders, graduated at the age of twenty from the University of Cologne, he entered the Carthusian Order in 1423. He was an excellent writer of mysticism and for this reason he was awarded the title of Doctor Estaticus. During his studies he was often tempted by the devil, whom he forced to hold his ink-pot while writing in the name of Jesus. He is commemorated as blessed on March 12.

Dionigi von Rijkel Seliger, 1404-1471. In Rijekl in Flandern geboren, erwirbt er mit zwanziger Jahre an der Universität von Köln einen Hochschulabschluss, 1423 trat er in den Orden der Kartäuser ein. Er war ein hervorragender Schriftsteller von Mystik und für dieses wurde ihm der Titel von “Doctor Estaticus“ übertragen. Während seines Studiums wurde er oft vom Teufel versucht. Während er schrieb ordnete er dem Teufel ihm das Tintenfass im Namen von Jesus zu halten. Er wird von der Liturgie als Seliger am 12. März gedenkt.
