Oddone da Novara, beato, vissuto tra il 1105 ed il 1200, fu eletto priore della Certosa di Geyrach in Slavonia; rinunciò alla carica e divenne cappellano in un convento di suore di cl Si ricordaausura a Tagliacozzo. Ha accanto il giglio, segno di purezza e tiene in mano una candela accesa, luce e fuoco di fede, che sostenne nei fedeli, che lo guardano estasiati, e nelle suore, che lo ammirano dietro le grate. Il suo culto fu confermato nel 1859. Si ricorda il 14 gennaio.

Oddone from Novara, blessed, lived between 1105 and 1200, was elected prior of the Charterhouse of Geyrach in Slavonia; he renounced office and became chaplain in a convent of enclosed nuns. There is a lily beside him, sign of purity and he holds in his hand a lighted candle, light and fire of faith, that he kept in the faithful, that look at him enraptured, and in the nuns, that admire him behind the grille. His cult was confirmed in 1859. He is remembered on January 14.

Oddone von Novara, Seliger, lebte zwischen das Jahr 1105 und 1200, er wurde Prior von der Kartause von Geyrach in Slavonia gewählt; verzichtete aber auf das Amt und wurde Kaplan in einem Klausurfrauenkloster in Tagliacozzo. Er hat die Lilie neben ihn, Zeichen von Reinheit und hält in der Hand eine brennende Kerze, Licht und Feuer des Glaubens, die in den Gläubigen lebt, die ihn verzückt ansehen, und in den Nonnen, die ihn hinter dem Gitter bewundern. Sein Kult wurde 1859 bestätigt. Er wird am 14. Januar erinnert.
